On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of The Venice Glass Week, the Consorzio Promovetro Murano presents an immersive journey dedicated to the past, present, and future of Murano glass.
From September 12 to 20, 2026, at the Palazzo MOROSINI GATTERBURG in Campo Santo Stefano, Venice, also home to the Venice Glass Week 2026 over-35 HUB.

The Past

is represented by an exhibition of works and an immersive video installation that retraces the main initiatives promoted by Promovetro over the last decade—Murano Glass Toys, Glass Archipelago, Murano: UpcyclingGlass, Glass Bateo, the Floating Furnace, Vero Casanova and Murano Glass Street Art.

The Present

is demonstrated through the presentation of the immersive reality project “The Magic of Murano Glass Making,” promoted and organized by the Directorate General for Growth and Export Promotion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with the Consorzio Promovetro. Seven VR headsets will allow visitors to enter the furnaces and workshops of Murano and virtually sit alongside the masters.

The Future

is represented by another video installation where AI, the new technology, becomes a tool at the service of glass, amplifying its ability to be narrated and interpreted, in this case, in a light-hearted way.
