The Murano Glass
A thousand-year old history
"The Magic of Murano Glass" Immersive Reality Project
This project, created in collaboration with MAECI, consists of a series of immersive 360° videos filmed inside eight furnaces and workshops on the island of Murano. Viewed through VR headsets, they allow you to experience the creation of Murano glass objects as if you were standing just centimeters away from the master glassmakers. The videos feature commentary available in eight different languages. Please contact us for further information.

Consorzio Promovetro di Murano was founded in 1985. Over the years it has become an important consortium, so much so that it counts among its members the two main trade associations in the glass sector, Confartigianato Venezia and Unindustria Venezia, and currently represents over 40 artisan and Murano industrialists.
