Ongaro e Fuga, a company founded in 1954 by Franco Fuga and currently managed by his sons Bruno, Giuliano and Francesco, is certainly to be considered among those that keep alive the tradition of refined Murano art and in particular of the Venetian mirror, respecting the same techniques and the same materials used in ancient times.

It is thanks to the great experience accumulated over the years by the founder Franco Fuga who still works as a consultant, that the company manages with the right combination of modern and ancient techniques to convey those emotions that the industrial product cannot give.

For this reason, the company, in addition to the manual execution of Venetian-style mirrors and the creation of particular projects (bedrooms, dining rooms, ceilings, etc.), to the execution of pieces designed by architects and designers, dedicates itself, carrying out all the necessary processes internally (engraving, silver plating and antiquing), to the difficult art of restoration and reproduction of antique mirrors, restoring among other things in the 1960s the mirrors of the La Fenice theater and working closely with many Venetian antique dealers and foreign.
